Visitors to Doncaster’s prestigious Keepmoat Stadium can now benefit from refreshed road safety measures, thanks to work completed by line marking specialists, Fastline Services earlier this month.
The £32 million home to Doncaster Rovers and Doncaster Rugby League FC has recently undergone an ambitious programme of regeneration. As well as the state-of-the-art, 15,000-seat stadium, the complex also acts as a premium conference and event venue. Fastline Services, also based in Doncaster, freshened up existing lines marking the one-way system around the stadium with the aim of enhancing visitor safety and easing traffic flow around the site. Fastline Services also repainted a pedestrian crossing to help staff, spectators and attendees continue to access to the stadium safely and more easily.
The updated road markings are highly visible and durable, able to withstand the heavy traffic and footfall often experienced at the stadium. Fastline Services offers a range of internal and external line marking services, from road markings and car parks to playgrounds, sports halls and warehousing.
Club Doncaster facilities manager Craig Challenger said: “I’d like to thank Fastline Services for their work on these safety measures around Club Doncaster Sports Village. These will benefit everyone who visits the ground.”
Adam Fleming, Managing Director of Fastline Services said of the line markings at Keepmoat Stadium, “As lifelong Doncaster Rovers and Doncaster Rugby League FC fans, we were delighted to have this opportunity work with the team at Keepmoat Stadium on their updated one-way system and pedestrian crossing. I am sure that everyone who visits will benefit enormously from these enhanced safety measures. We wish the teams well for a successful football and rugby season ahead.”
