In depth
01

Industrial resin flooring built to last

A resin floor is one of the best investments you can make in an industrial building. It seals and protects the concrete slab beneath, eliminates dust, resists the chemicals, oils and impacts of daily operation, and creates a seamless surface that's quick and easy to keep clean. At Fastline we specify and install resin flooring systems across warehouses, factories, workshops and food production sites throughout the UK.

The key to a resin floor that lasts is preparation. We mechanically prepare the substrate, repair cracks and defects and prime correctly before laying the system, so it bonds properly and performs for years rather than peeling or failing early.

02

Epoxy or polyurethane?

Epoxy and polyurethane resins each have their strengths, and choosing the right one matters. Epoxy is extremely hard and chemical-resistant, ideal for warehouses and workshops. Polyurethane is more flexible and copes better with thermal shock and temperature change, which suits food production, cold stores and areas exposed to hot washdowns. We recommend the right system after surveying your site.

  • Epoxy: maximum hardness and chemical resistance
  • Polyurethane: thermal and impact resistance, flexibility
  • Anti-slip aggregates for ramps and wet areas
  • Colour zoning and integrated line marking
